| Cirque du Soleil returns to the Santa Monica Pier with its big top show "OVO" opening Friday, January 20, 2012in their trademark blue and yellow tent. 55 artists from 14 countries will be performing at OVO as exotic, artistic and imaginative insects and bugs. After the show, come by Bruno's for some great Italian food and you can skip the huge crowds leaving the parking lot right after the show. Just walk to the lifeguard headquarters (central station) on the southside of the pier and walk up Seaside Terrace, in a few minutes you'll be at Bruno's! |

| The University of Wisconsin Badgers and the University of Oregon Ducks wil have pre-game pep rallies at the Santa Monica Pier (north parking lot). Open to the public the event will be on 2 days; December 31, 2011 (Wisconsin) and January 1, 2012 (Oregon) from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. What's better than pizza and football? Bruno's restaurant will be open on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day and we're just a short walk from the Santa Monica Pier. |

| Ten free concerts on the deck of the Santa Monica Pier this year, beginning every Thursday from July 7, 2011 to September 8, 2011. Bangles will be there on July 14 and more; The SaMo Mambo: Salsa, ‘80s Pop, Australia Rocks the Pier!, Reggae/Ska, La Monica Ballroom Then & Now, Making Waves: A Night of Surf Guitar, Tango on the Timbers, New Americana, and A Night in Treme! Bruno's is a popular spot for before and after the concert. If you're looking at the entrance to the pier, just walk south one block and you're at Bruno's! |

| Santa Monica Pier and the Honolua Surf Co. will kick off the summer of 2011 with the Santa Monica Pier Paddleboard Race and Ocean Festival, featuring paddleboard races, dory competitions, outrigger canoes, live music and a surfing, lifeguard and paddleboard "museum for the day." The all day event takes place Saturday, June 11, 2011 and is a benefit for Santa Monica-based Heal the Bay and its public marine education facility, the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium.

| On the Santa Monica Pier, the 5th annual Cinco de Mayo Harley-Davidson on May 7, 2011 from noon to 6pm. Visitors will be treated to a line up mariachi music, ballet folklorico and azteca dancers live contemporary Latin music, 50 cultural and motorcycle related vendors, a custom motorcycle show, magazine photo and art exhibit, Harley-Davidson product display and a variety of other Cinco de Mayo related programming. |

| Nearly 20,000 runners have registered for the 2011 race which is set to take place on Sunday, March 20. The Honda LA Marathon's finish line is Ocean Ave. and California Ave just a short walk to Bruno's after the race! Streets along the route will be closed to traffic. |

| The American Film Market returns to Santa Monica. This year 427 films will be screened, 43 are world premieres, 306 market premieres and 21 3D movies. Bruno's welcomes AFM!

| This years LA Marathon begins at Dodger Stadium and ends at the Santa Monica Pier and Ocean Ave., the finish line is just 1 block from Bruno's. Run 1 more block and enjoy lunch at Bruno's! Bruno normally is opens at 4:00 on Sunday but will open early on Sunday, March 21 in celebration of the LA Marathon. |
